THE TROLLEY BARN

June is Pride Month, and this year's theme is "Reflect. Empower. Unite."  What better way to embrace each of these expressions than to marry the one you love!  That's just what Lisa and Kara did, and in high style no less!  With Atlanta Drag as a backdrop to their relationship history, they invited one of Atlanta's premier drag queens to officiate the ceremony, and four of her BFFs to join in for a mid-reception drag show.  This was hands down (and fingers up!) THE most fun and celebratory wedding of the year! YASSS!  Make it RAIN, baby!  Special thanks to Brigitte Bidet, Ella/Saurus/Rex, Dotte Com, Jaybella Banks, LaZanya Ontré, and the fabulous DJ Gorp for brining on the JOY!!!

CALLANWOLDE FINE ARTS CENTER
When Lauren was a young girl taking ballet in this beautiful, sunlit space, little did she know that one day she would marry her prince charming on these very same floors.  Fairy tales do come true, and this wedding is proof!  It was one of those magnificent Spring days, with birds chirping, flowers everywhere, and happy tears on many faces.  Once the party started, it wanted to last all night!  But alas, as all good things do, it came to an end with the bride and groom in each others arms for the loveliest private Last Dance ever.

ATLANTA BOTANICAL GARDEN

My beautiful couple couldn't have chosen a more perfect setting as they traveled from Texas to Atlanta to be wed.  With the world on lockdown, though, it became an intimate celebration with their parents only. Yet it was one of the most gorgeous and meaningful weddings I've seen.  Ornate Events added to the lushness with abundant florals, while Longleaf provided the perfect petite cake.  And the bride, who stopped everyone in their tracks?  The one and only Scoobie West.  With a day this full of love and grace, give me a wedding for 6 any time!

MONDAY NIGHT GARAGE
For this beautiful nurse and her handsome groom, bright, beautiful color was the order of the day! With full creative freedom, Rhapsody in Blooms set a dynamic stage for the ceremony and reception.  Affairs to Remember had guests raving about the cuisine, and of course it wouldn't be a celebration without music and dancing, which went on in spades thanks to Evan Malloy of Ultrasonic Entertainment!

BILTMORE BALLROOMS

On an absolutely perfect September day, Carly married Alex and it was magical!  The Reverend Elliott Robinson delivered a beautiful ceremony, followed by a wonderful feast by Bold Catering + Design, who also adorned the rooms with gorgeous floral abundance.  Guests then danced the night away to the sounds of Blackberry Breeze, as Maggie Smith was on hand to paint this lively scene.  Most fun, the couple's pup Bear served as host of the evening!

THE ESTATE
Legendary Events pulled out ALL the stops to create a spectacular wedding for Savannah & Steven, from colorful and abundant blooms around every corner, to the most luscious fruit and chocolate display that was as beautiful as it was delicious!  The hex and bee theme was a nod to the newlyweds' last name, and was found in personal touches across the event.  After a scrumptious dinner, this party did NOT want to stop as Evan Malloy of UltraSonic gave them a dance party for the ages!  My toes are still tappin' from this wonderful celebration!

DEKALB HISTORY CENTER
This ultra stylish couple chose to wed in the groom's hometown of Decatur, which luckily has one of the prettiest wedding venues in the Atl!  All dressed up in black and white by Rhapsody in Blooms, the night was aglow, as was the bride!  Exotic blooms met candlelight as they danced all night after a gorgeous wedding feast by Endive, which is where Paige and Denis has their first date.  Sweetest!

THE CARLYLE
Wow, what a night!  With a stellar vendor team, this wedding had all the beautiful bells and whistles!  Affairs, Rhapsody in Blooms, and yours truly came together to create an indoor garden theme, with beautiful colored glass by APR, and specialty linens by I Do.  Robin Gerrard did a magnificent job of capturing all the beauty, with the emphasis on the bride herself, adorned by Jade Jamrozy and Tara Young.

PONCE CITY MARKET ROOFTOP
The skyline views were magical on this luscious September evening!   And for Ayanna and Rodney, that wasn't the only magic in the air...  They were surrounded by full JOY as they said I Do and then partied like nobody's business!   Designs by TTOC provided the loveliness, while Soiree kept everyone well fed.   Shannon and Joseph Echols had a literal playground as their photography backdrop, with Skyline Park open for wedding business!!

THE TROLLEY BARN
For these two beautiful women, a wedding day made in heaven was well deserved.  And well delivered!  From the natural florals by Adaptation, to a choreographed bridal entrance turned First Dance Funk... from a miraculous menu by Endive to Nice Entertainment's spinning out the dance floor, these ladies did not disappoint!!  Their wedding night was as fun as it was gorgeous, and I have a feeling that long after the honeymoon, the laughter in their home will never stop ringing!

COUNTRY CLUB OF THE SOUTH
With a tastefully artistic eye, and a lush, traditional aesthetic in mind, this couple turned the Country Club of the South into a Garden Paradise! Stylish Stems created the gorgeous backdrop while Yo from Grapefruit Photo captured so many amazing moments! Anywhere a golf cart could get to, they made the most of it on this perfect Fall day!

ATLANTA BOTANICAL GARDEN
This gorgeous wedding showcased the natural beauty of the gardens while enveloping this lovely couple with grace.  The groom's mother officiated the ceremony, with an abundantly appointed backdrop designed by Jim White.  Proof of the Pudding brought on the delish, while Black Tie events had guests on their feet, and one small guest aiming toward a career in DJing!  Laura Stone captured all the love with her usual, and beautiful, panache.
